Task 2 The continuous collection of Business Needs from Industry Board
Knowledge Web provides a set of business cases (still growing) on how semantic web technologies could solve concrete business issues which are relevant in respect to some strategic industries: for example B2B Marketplaces, e-government, e-work, Healthcare, software engineering.
The intention is to collect application requirements from concrete business needs as expressed by the Industry Board. To that end we possess now a 3 pages form that works efficiently with Industry for conducting F2F interview meetings with key industry representative. 
Moreover, it is important to evaluate where semantic web technologies are going in the future, which hot research topics are in the academia agenda and how these can fit emerging business issues. This analysis will be one of the main inputs to the roadmap.
The new Business Cases that will be collected will be available – only – on the KW Industry portal through possibly protected access.
