L3S and KMi are working tightly together in the education area of KnowledgeWeb. This visit is intended to foster this cooperation further and prepare for the next version of the Advanced Semantic Platform for Learning (ASPL-2). Especially, the visit is intended to include functionality exploring information from social networks into ASPL-2, which can be used in recommendation services to find, for example, related documents, related prominent persons, related projects, communities etc. Such recommendation services should themselves be based on Semantic Web technologies combining all available information semantically.
