Topic:	Expressive Querying Over Fuzzy-DL-Lite Ontologies
Abstract:	During my stay in the University of Aberdeen we investigated both theoretically and practically the issue of expressive query answering over tractable fuzzy Description Logics. Fuzzy Description Logics are proposed for handling imprecise and vague knowledge in applications where such requirements are met. The work led to theoretical results on querying fuzzy-DL-Lite ontologies while also practical implementations by extending the algorithms of the ONTOSEARCH2 DL-Lite engine.
